Paul was still able to do the weather in his usual slot for Look North Hull, so it must have been problems with the studio that prevented Look North Yorkshire going to air.

I wonder if there will be any mention on the 10.30 bulletin later.

The weather map was pan regional, spanning from Scarborough to King's Lynn.

While we are on the subject of the weather, Kerrie Gosney has chosen a bad week to be off, with today's poor weather dominating the news.

We were instead left with Emma Jesson doing the weather forecast tonight on Calendar.

It does appear the Leeds weather studio is now outputting in HD as Abbie Dewhurst was in HD on NE&C during Breakfast. This would explain the recent glazed downscaled look on Yorks/Y&L during bulletins including today.
