I note that some of Channel 4’s displaced Monday daytime programmes seem to be playing catch up on Saturday next week, as both Countdown and Moneybags are being shown in the afternoon.

1.20-2.50pm and 7-8.30pm.

I’m not sure Channel 4 really know what they stand for at the moment. Are they supposed to offer an alternative or not, because on Monday they are neither showing the funeral nor offering an alternative.

I'm  not sure the people who don't want to watch the funeral are going to be any more interested in monarchy documentaries. Credit to Channel 5 as they seem to be the only ones willing to sidestep this madness.

I was surprised to find Good Morning Britain on air this morning - an extended edition (6-9.30) too. Kate Garraway and Adil Ray presenting. It wasn't on yesterday and it was only on for an hour last Sunday.

They obviously felt they had enough material to make it worthwhile, and what I saw was really good.

Was it not two hours last Sunday?

GMB have covered everything very well, I really think it is at its best when there is a big story to cover.

Yeah I believe it was extended last minute and ran 9:30 till 11:30.

Also The Last Leg ran for only 45 minutes on Friday. Mainly because The Queen was the only topic they discussed

The Last Leg was excellent on Friday. Just the right balance of comedy and respect.

Just seen that the adult channels on Sky will be showing the funeral tomorrow - looks like they will be airing Sky News coverage.

With or without commercials? Because if there were no ads, 45 minutes basically is the same as the usual hour.

Wait, what do you mean, "adult channels"? Surely porn channels wouldn't even be on air at that time of day?
