Some people seem to know about incidents occurring at all hours and on different channels which are simultaneous.

You never hear about the mistakes nobody notices, so when someone does notice something it might seem like they're just watching out for mistakes all day.

Not having a go. Just asking.

Hey, it's alright. I get what you are saying. It's down to the fact that there are loads of us TV anoraks on the forums, and Coronation Street was (and still is) a big show.

This a really odd one, the way it started and the filler ran in the same loop until 3am would suggest some kind of system failure especially with the crash into the network feed.

Better ear than mine, he did say "Welsh" and not Wales upon a relisten.

A small cockup only seen by those lucky enough to have ITV1 HD! Mark Austen preparing for his news bulletin. Not the first time they have interrupted the football, no no. Wonder what the tweet (X post) was...

Yeah that suggests some form of automation that should have been cancelled and wasn't, as you can see from the football that match has gone into extra time. IIRC HD channels weren't just simulcast at the time, they were effectively separate services, I know these days they bounce SD down from HD.

Anyway, as you say, not the first time the HD channel went off on its own, and it was unfortunately because IIRC they missed a goal in a football match once!

Here’s another example of ITV1 HD losing football, not sure if it was this or the Liverpool v Everton one but I know one of them messed up so bad it caused breaks to fail, caused major problems with the interviews at the end of the match and even caused the News at Ten to fail!

Very rare news channel break down in the US.

On Tuesday Morning

Way Too Early with Jonathan Lemire started (5AM), the A block was okay. However they had a short B and C block the latter which they crashed out of. They ran ads afterwards and eventually a string of promos. A dead rolled The Rachel Maddow Show started at 5:25 and it had normal commercial breaks.

At the beginning of Morning Joe they had music with a live shot of the Capitol playing for a minute, then eight minutes of promos. At 6:08 they played the toss of The Rachel Maddow Show to The Last Word and this continued to 6:11 when Morning Joe finally started.

I wonder what happened. MSNBC has two CR in Rockefeller Center CR 31 and 32 - 31 is used for dayside I believe. There one in DC as well. I believe all the control rooms in 30 Rock are “standardized”.

I don’t know where they decamped to - however one during for third and fourth hours of Today they use the control room that’s also shared Late Night with Seth Meyers. So it’s probably more suited for a news back up.

Always surprises me when there's a breakdown or similar and no-one notices..... especially when it's one of mine Big Grin

Well I’ve just noticed Magic has crashed again, no DOG or graphics. But only because I started going through the music channels to see what was on 🙂
