Sky sports F1 usually have, on indycar races, Tom Gaymor talking from London during the break on the nbc commentary. Due to technical issues last night, on the final race of the season he was unable to do so.

Also twice during the race, the coverage jumped back a few seconds, and the sky sports f1 dog disappeared and reappeared, and a few minutes later, the coverage went back to live, missing a few seconds, and again the dog disappeared and reappeared.

Anyone watching BBC One London right now? It seems only the audio is routed to TX... so a few seconds later they took the NC feed? Not sure if it's just a problem with my feed only...

UPDATE: Seems like it's an actual problem~ They crashed into South East Today at around 1908 and the presenter welcomed viewers in London after the package ended

UPDATE 2: At around 1918 they crashed into the NC feed again from South East Today. I think the Clean Feed blog can do a new post on this!

UPDATE 3: At around 1921 they finally opted into NBH Studio A's feed. They played the titles and started the newscast, however they still couldn't route the audio and the newscast was mute for about 1 minute until audio resumed during a package so the presenter's opening couldn't be heard...

Apologies, I edited the post and removed my assumptions~ My intention was to post my observations ASAP and I didn't proofread it comprehensively...

S4C had a bit of a meltdown during the Scarlets - Ospreys match tonight. Surprisingly, they had a live announcer on duty at 10:30pm on a Saturday, you don't see that very often!

Reasonably quick to react to the fault:

Possibly a quicker reaction than it looks - S4C is played out from a pres suite at BBC Wales, which I assume is a similar spec to BBC Scotland. It looks like their desk takes 2 seconds to react after pressing a button

RE: Mistakes/Breakdowns - Stooky Bill - 18-09-2022

Does S4C have director/announcers like BBC1 and 2 Wales? If so that would explain why there was a live announcer that late
