Not the greatest image quality, but it Looks like the new studio is done.

Looks like the rear of those monoliths do indeed show graphics...

Perhaps this will become the new "Can the lightboxes in C change colour?"

As I suggested up thread, I think one of the purposes of the windows (with wood panelling/LED strips on the outside) would be to allow long-shots from outside the set to give an impression of more space. Perhaps in those circumstances you'd want to have some sort of image on the back of the monoliths if you wanted to use a moving 'Skycam' set up.

I suppose we'll find out in June whether that sort of shot is for Breakfast or Sport.

The sofa/desk rostrum is certainly mobile, as shown in the different pics we've seen.  I would think you'd only want to be looking out onto the Sport Newsroom (which has it own monolith) for Sport bulletins, rather than for Breakfast.

I would imagine for Breakfast they'd want to be using the rest of that new space within the set.

That's not the best quality Tweet pic in the world, but I think it clarifies what I mean.

Not the greatest quality but sofa, tower, catwalk in sport mode.

Looks like the sofa is in the same style as the new regional set sofas with the grey plastic surround.

Surely they won’t be using the red sofa for sport though?

Don't worry, one of the floor manager's nans will soon knock up a wrinkly 'stretch' cover in grey to cover it up a la Newsnight.

Presumably, that is three in the studio area itself possibly and two around the 'newsroom' area from seeing the pictures themselves.

When the new Breakfast set is in Sports bulletin mode; does it show the BBC Sport logo in Reith or Gill Sans?

I don't like the new style sofas, but I would hope that as the cushions are seperate from the frame, the design allows for them to be swapped quite easily without any involvement from someone's Nan.
