That fall looked nasty, hope Ant is actually OK and wasn’t just riding off the adrenaline rush!

I do like how they go on about ‘more talent than EVER’ every year…here’s a guy we’ve put through to the live semi finals pretending to fart!

Yeah, why the hell did they put him through to the live shows? He ended up getting buzzed off! XXXX.

It was a bit of a bum note.

I see they ditched any idea of a selection process for the live finalists although it's probably been like that since Covid?

So did everyone who got put through in audition make it to the live finals? If so it rather invalidates the golden buzzer.

Why have they not explained why there is a missing gap in the auditions, and now the Golden Buzzer means nothing?

No, there’s still only 40 in the semi finals, and more than 40 yeses were given at the auditions. The cut still happens, but now off screen. Last year they did briefly show the judges deliberating (without showing the results) but this year didn’t even bother with that, although Ant & Dec did briefly refer to “the judges having some work to do”.

It was a part of the show that didn’t rate especially well, and almost certainly wasn’t worth dragging everyone to London for, particularly now they have more international acts and professionals. But they should probably have been a bit more explicit that there is still a cut.

The could have simply put together a 1 minute piece to tell viewers the selection was done earlier - wouldn't have taken long to explain, but they just left it there with no explanation.

Would have made the show look really bad them sending through Itchyfarter instead of a far more deserving act. That's not the PR they need right now.

Wasn’t just me who noticed the flash of green screen and gap in the sound at the start of Semi 1 then… I thought oh no, it’s 2018 Semi 1 all over again!

Viggo Venn perhaps proving tonight the public are finally getting a bit bored of the same old sob story routines!
