Just flicked on the NOS election night coverage and have to say their VR Tweede Kamer is so much better quality than the BBC's PlayStation House of Commons. While I can't say I'm a convert to VR infographics, they'd be more bareable if they weren't awful.

In Germany, BILD TV, the news channel off-shoot of the tabloid newspaper of the same name, will close at the end of the year after more than 2 years: https://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2023/11/24/axel-springer-to-close-bild-tv-channel/ 

BILD will focus on the digital platforms, while the documentaries and debates, as well as handball and basketball coverage will move to WELT after the closure.

GMA in the Phillippines may update their evening news, 24 Oras, soon judging by their latest promo. It opts for a warmer shade of white than gray, plus a sliver of blue. The Oras wordmark is also changed to the same font as the overarching news department.

Kamahl Santamaria has done his first podcast interview since his departure from TVNZ, revealing he intends to take legal action against the broadcaster.

On a side note, he was speaking to Duncan Garner, who you may recall was on air when Mediaworks abruptly closed its newstalk radio station Today FM back in March (probably one of the more terse events in the media at large this year, IMO)

To bring that part of the story up to date, Garner actually ended up staying with Mediaworks to do a podcast, even after lambasting his employers in the last few minutes on air.

Its star signing, breakfast host Tova O'Brien, has also remained outside broadcasting - she's now a chief political correspondent for the news publisher Stuff, where she also presents her own podcast (though I believe she was among those involved in legal action against Mediaworks)

Kazakhstan Khabar Agency Group Owned News Channel Khabar 24 Will be rebranded Under the Name Of 24KZ Starting From Monday So it Means That Khabar 24 Will be renamed back to the original channel name when it was first Launched In 2012
So this will be the second time of the channel to get rebrand

The updated broadcast schedule will feature a morning show in an infotainment format and a review of the day in the evening. Bilingual news will remain the main focus.

In turn, the 24KZ team will film special reports, objective investigations, exclusive interviews and raise current issues so that viewers receive news in real time.

Whether global events, domestic politics, economics or cultural trends, the news channel remains a kind of information locomotive in the country. The transformation of the channel took place quickly, just like everything else in our newsroom; this modern studio, for example, was built in the shortest possible time.
