Yes, they have shown and read comments from viewers, but that was pretty much it.
On a separate note, they announced "slightly different looking studio" in September, when the program returns from the summer break.

I think the only real confirmation we have that it was ever going to get refitted was from Martine Croxall's tweet in response to someone asking about it.
Seems unlikely with B malfunctioning at the rate it has, C too come to think of it.
