The tagline was "Live from London, this is The World Today, with Maryam Moshiri"

I wish the programme slug wouldn’t disappear when there’s Breaking News.

The international feed intro at 1800 GMT. Looks and sounds really really nice.

So basically a very poor imitation of the regional news titles. That full scale rebrand of the channels visual branding, and indeed it's music, is still desperately needed.

As much as I'm still not a fan of the titles, I adore the updated version of the original World Today theme from the 2000s
Hopefully they can now inject a little more personal identity into News Now and Verified Live to bring them up to the same standard as The World Today, The Context and WNA

It's an improvement on the other "branded" programmes in this iteration of the News Channel, but that's not saying much. The way the circles rotate remind me a little of the current BBC Breakfast titles, but I wish the circles didn't look so pedestrian and basic.

So there is a time check a bit like CNN Today used to do, except not as slick, and that’s basically the only difference. Maryam also oddly introduces herself twice!
I’m really not sure Beyoncé is top global news either.
But it looks better on screen than I’d thought based on the still of the title card and the music is nice!

Has Adam Bolton featured regularly on the BBC since finishing at Sky?

I've also seen him feature as a guest on Newsnight.
