You can tell he started on the Guido Fawkes blog with that sensationalism. None of this is News.
He waits until half way down to point out it isn't a News production. Pretty sure they retain crown copyright over all those productions and documentaries they take personal part in and clearly have a say in whats going in.

That's why this was banned

Rolleyes he could ask his partner BBC News channel controller Jess Brammar (currently on maternity leave) about it. Talk about over compensating to avoid bias

GB News on the other hand have deep pockets still, so they will pay the BBC, even though they will use this to slime and smear the BBC for the rest of 2023.
TalkTV wont be allowed to - Fox will have a license for the footage in the countries where they operate. They may be allowed to stream it without geoblocks, but that doesn’t mean co-owned broadcasters can use it.

Not sure Talk TV can do this. Ofcom actually take copyright stuff seriously.

RE: Coronation of King Charles III - Krede - 05-05-2023

Nigel Farage said to Fox News, that Talk TV and GB news have come to an agreement with the BBC on a reasonable price and the issue is solved

RE: Coronation of King Charles III - News Engineer - 05-05-2023

The statement is completely inaccurate with regard to foreign broadcasters. None of them are getting it ‘for free’.

Every foreign broadcaster that gets it will be paying in some form, by being an EBU member (or subscriber to their news service), having an agreement with a UK broadcaster, or being a paying subscribe to one of the news agencies (Reuters, AP, AFP, PA) who each themselves will have an agreement with one or more members of the UK pool.

That GB News and TalkTV have decided not to be part of the pool is their decision. Those who have get the coverage. Everyone else has to pay.

Exactly. Factually inaccurate and deliberately misleading. It's their trademark.

Whatever you may think of Murdoch and his company, they would have prepared for this - this event is where Murdoch wants Talk TV to shine, I feel they would have done a deal to ensure all sister networks of Fox get to air coverage including his Sky News Australia. He maybe old, but he knows the broadcasting business very well.

And even the EBU members are only getting the Internetional Feed without commentary. If they want acces to any other feeds or the concert on Sunday they have to pay extra.

Ofcom don't deal with rights issues, that's up to the broadcasters involved

As for GB News having 'deep pockets' it doesn't, it's making a massive loss. Not that that's a reason they should get it free/cheaper - news is an expensive business
