The logos have also updated on my smart TV's EPG. Though with the region name below being so small in size, you'd need to be sitting fairly close to the TV to read it, I wonder why they bothered. The BBC logo being so small too they are just white blocks a this point. Both could be improved by taking the region name text out of it to allow the logo to appear at a bigger size.

BBC One, Two and Four's logos finally updated to the new ones today on Sky Stream/ Glass. Just a year after the logos launched someone is finally pushing them out. Just triggering my OCD though that they are all smaller than the BBC Three logo which has been correct since it re-launched.

[EDIT] Looking again One and Two look okay size wise, think it's just the word length making it appear off, but the BBC Four logo is way off the size of the others.

Not updated yet on the online TV guide on sky.com but I imagine if they have small versions of 1/2/4 and a large 3 (as expected), someone is sure to notice that and change them... in about 3 years.

I noticed most of the new (year old...) BBC channel logos have now been added to Freesat's online TV guide. Haven't had a chance to check if they're on the box itself yet - when ITV changed recently, the website predated the on-screen EPG by several days.

The CBBC and CBeebies gradients make an appearance there, too!

More importantly, have the BBC remembered to tell production companies about the logo change. Still seeing programmes that were entirely produced this year for broadcast more than a year after the rebrand with the 1997 logo on the endboards. Just shockingly poor, as is the fact that NBH still has the 1997 logo out front. When you look back at the 1997 rebrand, all new episodes of any programme going out after 4th October were expected to have the new logo on. This meant some series switched logo between say episodes 3 and 4. Similarly, new signage was put up at Television Centre within a matter of days - as soon as was possible.

Now, from an aesthetic point of view, I'm not complaining about the 1997 logo hanging around. But from a branding perspective it is borderline unacceptable, while also undermining the entire justification of the rebrand in the first place. Any one of these issues on its own would be enough to speak to a badly managed rebrand, but altogether it is just shambolic.

The 1997 logo is still in plenty of places and will likely remain there for another year or two more I'd say.

As the old and new logos are relatively similar if they were to replace them all within a couple months you'd have headlines of "BBC spends £xx thousands to change the font on its signage".

Much better to roll it out slowly over a couple financial years. Also, in 1997 the new logo was a lot more noticeably different to the one it was replacing.

Fundamentally if it is possible for an old and a new logo to coexist then you didn't need the new logo. If you are happy with the old logo remaining a key part of your brand (including adorning your headquarters) then you are outright admitting that there is no need for the new one.

While there might be a political rationale behind a slower wider physical rollout (some regional signage in 1997 wasn't changed immediately), this isn't what I was talking about. Changing it on endboards would cost next to nothing and changing the front-of-house signage on NBH should have been a key priority. There is no political reasoning behind this, just very poor planning.

It is very strange how staggered out everything still seems to be. I don’t understand how the children’s channels still have the old logo. Last year I assumed they were waiting until the start of 2022 when they didn’t rebrand along with other channels, when that didn’t happen I expected the Autumn, but we’re now near to the end of the year with no sign of it changing anywhere bar some trailers and the downtime screens.
