Meanwhile in London, the new BBC music studios in Stratford have already got their Chameleon blocks despite the building being some way off completion. The renders have logos on the top of the building too.

Wow, looks great! Now we have to wait for NBH to get a new logo.

That seems perfect for the school holidays, but it doesn't seem to be available on the TV version of iPlayer, at least not the one on FireTV

There's an interesting article on https://www.bbc.co.uk/rd/blog/2023-08-sustainability-energy-saving-radio-tv-led-graphics  about how changes to the radio slates shown on TVs as well as using the new branding save energy.

I did wonder if the changes were intentional or a mistake on the screen when I first saw them...

They're not too pretty - at least the ones used for Radio 4.

The dark blue text doesn't really work against the black background

The point made in the article is that the previous designs were most suitable for an era when TVs featured no auto-dimming, no local dimming, and weren't OLED. The research shows just how much difference it makes - and it never hurts to test an assumption, as assumptions are not always correct.
