It's just creature comforts repackaged for about the 5th time, isn't it?

It beats yet another Gogglebox pastiche.

It's not great is it... I do wonder how these things happen, unless they've used an ancient PaintBox and the new logo was too big for the floppy disk...
Their animated headline strap still has the old bbc logo on it as well.

Viewers in Northern Ireland being treated to special St Patrick's Day stings this weekend.

Baffling how they can create something so nice and something so nasty simultaneously.

Still nice to see them make an effort. The BBC Two ident is lovely. Happy St.Patrick’s Day!

I’ve always been a fan of a special ident which feels like it could be part of the everyday rota
It’s funny how some ident packages seem to allow special idents to be made which fit the style and others don’t.

When you think of the bbc one balloon, there was a lot of special idents linked to shows or events which very much felt part of the set. The circle era was another example of a package which special idents could be produced and still fitted with the overall look. I can’t think of any special idents during the dancers era. BBC two has usually been able to produce special idents which fit with the over all package.

I do wonder if this is a consideration when they are designing the new ident packages.

There’s probably an argument that a special ident can break the everyday style but I always think they stand out for the wrong reasons.

Didn't BBC Wales do some specials in the Dancers era, reflecting on big sports results as BBC WON Wales

Yes, and when we lost, too.

Ahem.

There was a mini-set of idents with Wales fans in the pub that was used quite often for big football and rugby fixtures for a few years.

Saw the post-match ‘lost’ ident a lot, to be honest.
