I was having a flick, and watched a bit of the new Shop Extra service, featuring ex-Ideal World presenters and guests selling ex-Ideal World items. The Hochanda annoying barcode on the top edge of the screen was present, as well as the naff derivation of the Create and Craft logo.
I then wondered if the Ideal World stream was still going, if I used manual tuning on Sky. It was, but the apology slide has gone - it has been replaced by their logo, with "Ideal World HD" next to it. I hear that on Freeview, it just says Ideal World.
Firstly, I wonder why they've done this. Secondly, I wonder why they've decided to do these two separate slides, as I am not sure there was ever any difference between the SD and HD versions, barring the resolution of course.

it was changed relatively recently on Freeview from the "temporarily suspended broadcasting" slide to one that just says Ideal World.
So I take it after nearly two months there is no realistic prospect of saving the company and it'll just end up being dissolved at some point as happened with Sit-Up?

Could it possibly be that the 'suspended broadcast' slide originated from Peterborough whereas the solo logo one is a backup inserted by their uplink provider or something in case of loss of feed?

It would explain them being different between SD and HD - but is it even a thing that's done? It's also the newest variant of the logo, which wasn't around all that long, so impressive that something like that was kept up to date.

I'm not sure - ISTR the final 'breakdown' loops that Bid/Price Drop put out were generated somewhere other than Acton (where a cable was pulled to remove them from air).

The programme on Create and Craft now appears to be coming from the original Create and Craft set before the station was sold.

On Ideal Extra A Black screen is being broadcast with channels DOG On the screen
