Yes they use a different graphics system to us, so while they do have our templates they've had to recreate them all, and only had a week to turn it around. Graphics projects usually take a few weeks to get right, particularly the animations, so they've done a pretty good job.

Indeed, it does look pretty impressive considering the short amount of time they've had

Very surprised at the amount of attention to detail they’ve managed to put in during the past week. They even recreated the idents with products on and replaced the images, I was expecting them to go very basic with this but it’s a very impressive recreation

That wouldn't work with the 5USA +1 simulcast

Glad for those involved something has risen from the ashes but still don't get the appeal to the potential customer.

Presumably too they have had to sell that product at £45.99 previously to meet trading standards rules (think it's 30 days at full price).  A quick Google suggests it's widely available from £11.99 to £19.99.

For me these channels can be as problematic as the call and lose quiz channels were.   Are there measures in place to protect vulnerable viewers or is getting them to buy as much as they can considered a success?

I believe that the slot is a live slot on the +1 channel (as SuperCasino used to be). As it turns out, it was a placeholder.

We've given them a lot of the original videos and After Effects projects, including the idents, so they only had to edit the existing ones rather than recreate from scratch.

But there is a lot they've had to recreate and change in only a few days, so credit to them.

Items previously sold by TJC or TJC Beauty would likely count towards that 30 days. The Ideal World price seems to be the same as from the manufacturer, so the "regular price" does seem off.

The price comparisons tend to be done a bit better on TJC itself, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is something that changes. That said, there are occasions where certain presenters have gone off-piste and done their own price comparisons that don't stand up to scrutiny.

Some of the claims they make with the beauty products (again, this is more the case with certain presenters) do seem to be the sort that would be found to be breaching the rules by the ASA. The old Ideal World always tended to be a lot more careful with that sort of thing.

One thing they seem to be known for at TJC is good delivery times and customer service. They're not running one of those "rewards clubs" that people found themselves signed up to after making an order from Ideal World, for example.

I guess they could get away with hiding it away on their website at a higher price for the period without ever selling at that price on the channel.

Wonder if presenters are on a commission?

Good to see Peter Simon has moved across to Feltham.
