Indeed, he debuted on TJC about three weeks ago.

Just as I type this, they have sold out of an item. This seems to have slightly broken things, as there was about a two minute gap between products. Various sounds that usually accompany graphics changes and price plunges on TJC were audible - understandable, as the standard TJC graphics seem to run in a way where certain things must occur and are unskippable - the transition at the end of an auction being one of them (which is especially noticeable when they're selling lots of small quantities of jewellery on clearance)

They have picked some slightly nicer filler music than usually shows up on TJC, which is nice!

Nice to see how they've managed to get things on air. The presentation and graphics are very well re-created, they had a "choices" box under the phone number on one product with Peter Simon. I think the brick work around Sally earlier this morning was almost or exactly the same to what was on some of the IW sets in Peterborough.

The brick work is exactly the same. It's a wallpaper, so it's quite easy to buy and replicate (available from B&Q if anyone's interested).

How long will Ideal Extra last? It was still on the looping promo at 6am when IW relaunched, but checking now it's started simulcasting with Ideal World, with the message still on-screen.

I'm not running playout any later than Monday. If Arqiva haven't removed the channel from the transponder by then I'm switching it to bars.

For anyone who does look at the simulcast on Ideal Extra, I apologise for the ropy picture. I'm picking up Ideal World off satellite, upscaling it to HD (playout is in HD), and downscaling it again for the DSAT feed. Complete with two sets of encoding artifacts.

You could broadcast shout outs to all your pals on Pres Cafe and show a selection of viewers artwork.

I'd watch that.

Looks like Shop Extra has extended their live broadcasts. They are currently live with the Friday Fashion show with Genevieve Ni Reamoinn as seen on Ideal World.

Yes they now broadcast live from 4pm to 10pm. Those hours started last week
