They're all different brands of the same company. The first couple of Channel 4 series were under the Bazal name if we want to add to the list of names used.

I was only a casual viewer of the Channel 4 years and never watched it on Channel 5 so don’t have the format baggage that a lot of you have

As a result I’m enjoying the series.

Also It’s quite refreshing compared to Love Island and the like that it looks like a nice person with a decent level of intelligence is likely to win

Not even an apology for the live feed. Also, i thought they would promote itv2 over itv1 if it was an itv2 brand. This is more proof a full promotion is under consideration.

Questionable decision to keep the crowd tonight, i thought they would have to go cbb 2007 and axe the crowds for the safety of the evictees.

Questionable decision? Are you delusional? Crowds are an integral part of the format.

You don’t seriously think that a few members of the crowd would storm the stage and attack Dylan & Paul?

Tonight made up for a tumultuous week at least - very enjoyable results. Paul let slip during his eviction interview that he was “told to wind people up” which is annoying if true however.

Exactly - there is an argument for whether the show should have a crowd or not and I've long felt they shouldn't and wish they'd gone for more of a studio set up given the space they have now would mean it could work really well, but in the context of them having a crowd there is no way a 5-minute argument  would warrant the crowd being removed for the evictees safety.   That probably doesn't even get into the top 20 of all time Big Brother fights.

Interestingly Paul’s comment about production manipulation was cut out of the subtitles  https://x.com/uploadtv_/status/1720574443901145434?s=46

It's very clear to me that someone high up at ITV was sitting behind the person writing the subtitles and tapped them on the shoulder whenever they wanted the deaf community to remain ignorant of something.
