I am sure that I will likely get used to it, but at the moment, it looks out of place next to the current, swirly ITV logo. It looks too sharp

I think someone had said before that they saw a bride walking along for an ident filming, then in one scene she randomly jumped over or off/onto something? I imagine that might be the ITV 4 or maybe ITV 2 version of the ident?

It all sounds very interesting. I, however, will miss the abstract ITV idents and the soundtracks.  I hope the same set of locations used for each of the channels with a slightly different gesture/form up variation of the channel logo, won't make everything look a bit too "samey"?

I'm imagining if every BBC channel used the BBC1 locations, with a glass lens on 1, a faint 2 wave on 2, 3 - I'm not sure, and 4 squares on BBC4 - but with the BBC1 backgrounds, and slightly different BBC form up of the BBC blocks, from the top/side/down below etc.  Slightly different musical beds for each. Wouldn't they look too similar? That's how I'm wondering how these new ITV1/2/3/4 idents will look?

And "ITV1" is a bit of a mouthful  for the continuity announcers and doesn't sound as classy as "Now on ITV......".

I fail to see how "ITV1" is in any way whatsoever "a bit of a mouthful". It's only *four* syllables - which is exactly the same syllable count as ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, ITV Be, and CITV. It's hardly as if it's gonna be called "ITV Photosynthesis Antidisestablishmentarianism" or anything.

I also fail to see how adding a "1" (or anything else, for that matter) to the end of an existing channel name somehow makes it less "classy", or how any given television channel name is/isn't particularly "classy" in the first place (or, indeed, what the blithering flip that is even supposed to mean). It's not as if the new name is "ITV Your Mum" or something.

So anything about what colours ITV2, 3, 4 and Be will be using?
We know ITV1 is using blue, but I'm really curious if they'll use completely different colours for the other 4 channels.

Here's what I'd imagine them as.
ITV2: possibly carry on the neon greeny-blue or something radical like pink.
ITV3: gold is what I'd think would suit the channel well.
ITV4: possibly keep the grey or go for like white or something.
ITV Be: probably purple or something.
