Also - please let's move on from hypothesising about channel colour schemes.

Thanks for explaining why the post was removed; I'd missed that rule. It's a bit of a pity though and in this particular instance seems a little heavyhanded, but this is the brave new world we're in now we've sadly lost TVF and TVLF I suppose – and it's up to you how you run your forum.

EDIT: Remainder of post removed since you've added we're not allowed to discuss colours at all, in image form or otherwise. I'll stay away from discussions until the launch. Thanks.

Intrestingly the ITV2 twitter account has deleted the message about becoming ITVX.

Maybe Twitter had a word. Did seem an odd decision

Why would Twitter have a word?

Maybe because ITVX on social media releases tomorrow, with the on demand service releasing as soon as the ITV brand refresh launches next month.

It’s clearly a move to get instant followers for a new service without them actually choosing to follow it. No idea if you’re actually allowed to do that or not on Twitter but does seem a bit underhand.

They already had started a Twitter account for ITVX in December 2021.

Not sure what ITV's plans are for Twitter, are they hoping Twitter will take the followers of the ITV2/4/Be pages and merge them all into following ITVX? Not sure they can or will do that. Maybe they plan on Twitter swapping the handles around for ITVX and ITV2, then closing down the redundant pages. The ITVX one only has around 800 followers, but the others have much more and I think ITV will be keen to keep them.

I’m intrigued as to what ITV News will look like without Reem

With each channel getting their own version of the new corporate font, I could imagine ITV News possibly getting their own version or using the standard version.

It’s a shame ITV aren’t giving ITV News a fresh look as part of this. Whilst I agree with other comments it still looks reasonably fresh considering it’s nearly 10 years old; with the likes of BBC and Sky recently refreshing their sets and identities; I thought ITV may have taken this opportunity to give it a little nip and tuck. Maybe something for 2023 perhaps in the pipeline?
