*CLICKBAIT - No where is it mentioned in the link that GMB beat BBC Breakfast.

Apologies, CF1, but that isn't what the tweet says at all, and I don't understand why this 'GMB beats BBC' misinformation keeps being given on here.

Susanna's tweet (see below) gives more detail on the reference to GMB's ratings. There's not a single reference to the BBC in either Adil nor Susanna's tweet.

Good for GMB that the figures Susanna quoted seem positive, but let's not misinterpret this - GMB hasn't 'beaten' the BBC by any means, and it really would be rather nice if we could stop constantly claiming this falsehood to be true.

Edit: and the original Good Morning Britain titles out of the break, before a few memories with Lorraine.

They actually played the full opening titles from the original Good Morning Britain (including the first few moment of the very first show with the introduction from David Frost and Anna Ford) as part of the 6am opening headline sequence. Unsurprisingly they used a p*** poor quality blurry version of it most likely hastily grabbed from YouTube, and cropped to 16:9, so only the top half of the TV-am onscreen clock was visible in the clip.

Susanna will be in Kyiv for Monday's show

She’s going with Clive Myrie.

It’s never going to happen, but right there is your GMB dream team.

RE: Good Morning Britain - Kojak - 26-02-2023

Are we finally going to have a permanent co-host for Susanna this year? It seems mad that nearly two years (!!!) since Piers Morgan flounced off set, the producers are still persisting with these guest hosts. I don't think any other breakfast show in the world does this. I'm sorry, but I don't think the triumvirate of Ed Balls, Alastair Campbell and Adil Ray quite cut it.

RE: Good Morning Britain - Rolling News - 26-02-2023

One of Susanna's former BBC Breakfast co hosts who is departing Sky News would be great.

I can easily see Dermot doing a few guest spots here and there, but not sure if he'd want to commit to doing it full time at his age (65)? Mind you, Eamonn Holmes seems to manage all right. Maybe ITV can poach him back when GB News inevitably goes belly up...

I hope it occurs to them to get someone young! Otherwise when someone like Eamonn decides to call it a day they'll be spending 2 more years without a permanent co-host
