They don’t see them as a necessity anymore, especially on large well knows shows like BGT etc. Time is money so they say. How true that is I’m not sure.

The things though many shows have replaced 30 second title sequences with 2 minutes of recaps/previews instead.

They do like to recycle acts from other countries Got Talent’s don’t they now and very few of the auditionee’s are Joe Bloggs with a hidden talent and have decided to apply. I know it’s been like that for a while but when Simon is sitting there watching an act he watched a few months ago on AGT and pretending he’s suprised by it, it becomes a bit of a farce. At least in previous years it was acts that were on say China’s Got talent and Simon wouldn’t have been on the panel. The CGI act with the judges was the same as AGT but with just different people doing it so it was probably the producers that put that together in the first place.

Big schedule for the semi-final week, with 7 episodes in 7 days. 7th auditions episode is on Saturday 25th at 7.30pm, 8th on Sunday 26th at 8pm (only an hour, so the shortest episode of the show since 2014), then the semi finals from Monday to Friday of that week at 8pm.

I don't think there is a Semi Final on the Friday because there is the Women's football England V France

Football is probably on ITV4 or ITVX.

Its not, I am 99% certain it will be on ITV 1, ITV confirmed a few months ago that all Euro 2025 qualifying matches will be on ITV 1, plus on Applause store the tickets only go up to Thursday

ITV Press Centre have literally confirmed the slots for BGT this afternoon, so they’ll be correct. They must be showing the game on ITV4. I know they said all games on ITV1 in that press pack but that was a couple of months ago now and plans can change. I expect all the others will still air on ITV1, it was probably just not feasible to move a live BGT show (the dates for which will have been booked in months and months ago).

Applause Store release the dates in dribs and drabs usually anyway, there will definitely be a fifth semi final and I’m sure they’ll release the tickets in due course.

Maybe the football is on ITV1 and BGT on ITV4 that day.

That obviously would never happen. It’s also the wrong multi-channel brand for BGT.
