Those verified live titles looks like a channel 3 north east 1996 nightmare there’s too much going on there.

Now if they could incorporate the magnificence of the 1996 North East Tonight titles into their branding, that would be much better.

I really don't see why they didn't keep the previous Impact, Global and Live brands. They were distinctive but were still easily identifiable as BBC News, and all three if those programme's presenters were kept on post merger.

The UK feed of BBC News has broke away over an hour ago to provide coverage of questions to Home Secretary about her recent speeding fine & the PM's statement on the G7 summit in Hiroshima.
Who is the newsreader in Studio J for this coverage? I am not familiar with her on the BBC?

From the makers of "BBC News Now with Maryam Moshiri News" comes "BBC Verified Live with Matthew Amroliwala BBC Verify News".
That’s just being silly. You don’t have to read everything from top to bottom and assume that’s the title.
To me it clearly says the programme is called Verified Live, it’s hosted by Matthew Amroliwala, it’s on BBC News and is part of the BBC Verify sub-brand.

Have yet to see any of Verified Live as so far the UK has been entirely opted out, but is it just a standard BBC News bulletin in all but name? With a name like ‘Verified Live’, tied into the heavily-promoted disinformation and validation service, you’d expect it to be three hours of mostly, if not entirely, ‘Verified’ work?

They could have presented that information in a much cleaner manner than they have.

It's another hour of BBC News, one camera shot and all. Not a lot of verifying going on.

There is no clock on the UK feed of BBC News at the moment. Has that happened only since today?

No need for bbc verify, we can verify with our own eyes there is the first Saudi women in space.
Just to add to the inconsistency these new shows don’t even getting a programme strap to the lower thirds.
