It does seem as if You've Been Framed! has officially ended production after being on the air for over 30 years.
The repeat on ITV1 just now had all mentions of winning £250 removed and the postal address and web address had been edited out.
Also noticed that it hardly gets repeated nowadays on ITV2.
It's a big shame but it probably nowadays cannot compete with the likes of YouTube and TikTok.

I’m sure we’ve had this conversation before, possibly on one of the now defunct forums, but I think celebrity editions of The Chase and Catchphrase have replaced YBF in terms of new episodes being commissioned to fill gaps in the Saturday night schedules.

The twitter bio says new episodes coming in 2023.
But itv.com/framed has gone.

Maybe there are still some new episodes in the can? Possibly keeping them to use as filler during the summer months.

YBF has had long breaks during "series" as of late, the big table on Wiki suggests the last two series managed to last two and a half years each, so its probably not a priority programme as of now.
Plus they can probably cobble it together off YouTube these days, no need to wait for somebody to do something stupid and send it in, when there are probably endless examples of people doing stupid things already on YouTube/Tiktok. Easiest £250 to make I feel, tough probably in bad taste if you chuck your granny off the bus.
Always remember the website had an FAQ which had an entry re: the £250 payments - presume people thought they'd get it every time the clip was used. No, it was a one-off and if it appeared in another show... no more moolah for you.

Yeah, it was there four weeks ago, but not now. Looks like YBF has been cancelled.

It was once the case back when people sent in tapes, a few didn't get anything because somebody working in a sorting office decided to claim the footage as their own. Not sure what happened in the end.

Wasn't most of the footage these days taken from American clip shows? Didn't YBF get a slap on the wrist for something and in future shows dates shown on the footage ended up being blurred out?

I’d always assumed they blurred out the dates so it wasn’t obvious they were using 30 year old clips.

Well if its not obvious from the date stamps its probably obvious from the fashion or hair style or whatever that the clips dates from some point in the 1980s.
