There was a woman who managed to steal just over £100k on Golden Balls. I believe that was biggest amount won over the period it aired but I could be wrong.
Interestingly, the top ball had been planned to be £200,000 at pilot stage but they clearly decided against this before it got to air in earnest.

No DOND in the schedule for 25th September
Not sure who keeps updating Wikipedia with random dates but think they may want to find a better source!

And this is why Wikipedia gets the reputation it does for being unreliable when any Tom, Dick or Harry can create an account and add any fabricated drivel they like. Any user generated content is prone to this (IMDb is user generated, but submissions are manually verified before they go live, but they're only human so occasionally mistakes slip through).
As far as Wiki is concerned, "the inside of my head" is not supposed to be a valid source for, well anything basically, but still they try.

Sadly there seem to be a fair few people who use Wikipedia for their fantasies.

Picture Slam was mediocre and not dissimilar to In With A Shout.

Nothing that hasn't been done before with Picture Slam and Carr doesn't bring anything to the show. I think that's it for 2023 for new gameshow formats. Most of them left are reboots.

Recorded Alan Carr's Picture Slam earlier and decided to watch it. Isn't this just that show ITV tried back in April?
In all seriousness, first impressions, the show is just.. a show to lead into Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One on Saturday evenings. It hardly lacks any identity and overall just feels really generic. The graphics are the most bland things you've seen, aside from the icon-looking-things on the set, everything else looks thrown together. Any attempt at comedy for the most part comes off as cringeworthy to me. I'm sure some kid might laugh at Alan twerking to 21 Seconds but that kid ain't me.
Also I'm not sure if this and In With a Shout coming out in the same year and having the same concept is a coincidence.

I think it's just a case of commissioners wanting something different from standard Q+A but ending up with more or less the same thing. The Finish Line also has pictures but it's not the entire show, thankfully.
The hope in the industry seems to be that reality shows with elements of betrayal will be the next big thing but I doubt it with them all arriving at once and people having seen it before.

What show was actually commissioned / reported on first? This or In With A Shout?
I quite enjoyed Picture Slam… easy to play along with, Alan is an amusing host but it felt a bit clunky at times. Picking the numbers in certain rounds led to a few second delay in the picture reveals? Never noticed that on a show before
