They also deviated away from the original Strike It Rich US format in that regard which saw some convoluted arrangement re: finding dollar signs and not too many bandits, but apparently those signs didn't match anything to do with the jackpot amount and... it was confusing. Plus it was a rollover format as well.
In fact we faffed around with that format so much its a surprise it looked anything like the original idea.

On Strike It Lucky, the jumbling of the symbols on the end game was entirely random, so you could have an entire row where the top, middle and bottom were the same thing (so a hotspot could be unavoidable). On Strike it Rich it was done so that each row had one of each.

The US version is different but just by looking at the set you know it's Strike It Lucky. Maybe not if we had made it columns of screens instead.

There was definitely a point where all game shows suddenly changed to ‘win or leave with nothing’. Most used to give people what they’d built up even if they didn’t win. There’s a lot of risk in game shows these days.

Probably the numbers expected if you were to say that every show had found its level.

The schedule changes didn't change much then.

It's such a good show. Nice to have something where they can just have fun and come up with lots of ideas.
That said the Scunthorpe question in this week's was a particular highlight.

I wonder what the official rules are behind that censorship. Hearing the C-word post watershed isn't unheard of, but I was surprised to see Jimmy get bleeped just before the camera zoomed in on the answer, cutting off the S and Hope. Surely if there are rules against saying it, the rules apply to showing it too? ...the word, I mean.

Masked Singer gained a bit but I suspect more of a gain was wiped out by the shift 35 minutes earlier catching people out. Wouldn’t be surprised if it and Gladiators were quite close during the head to head. BBC1 will be pleased with McIntyre doing especially well.
Interesting that Limitless Win wasn’t hit by facing the end of Gladiators and Big Show. Backs up my theory that catch up on the earlier shows has been hurting it in recent weeks. It’s not a big hit but does a solid enough job.
