Another one for the eagle-eyed. If you click on the BBC iPlayer stream of the King Charles news on the iPlayer home page, it's the World feed of the News channel, not the UK one as it has the .com ticker and no clock.

Looks like they're showing a Welsh clip show and travelogue instead of the Panorama about cot death

They are opting out of the network schedule between 8 and 9 as well (8:30 being a repeat and 8pm a new programme).
BBC NI do the same with Hope Street, 7pm on Monday another 15 minute regional programme and EastEnders on at 8pm

Panorama is on at 22.45 in Wales and Scotland.

Last week, there was no trailers between Mastermind and Only Connect to catch up on The One Show finishing late, but this is a bigger deficit. There was trailers between The One Show and Mastermind.
There was a short Nigel Slater recipe at 7pm waiting for the One Show to begin.
It looks like BBC Two Wales is playing only one trailer between every programme and are catching up by around a minute every break. So, Putin v. The West started at 21:02. By that metric, they will be back on schedule by the start of Newsnight.

What exactly are they expecting to happen there?

That's pretty poor really - should at least have let them and the other nations opt out at 7pm as happens on Fridays.

UTV have now also lost the weekly "View from Stormont" programme this evening which was due on air at 10.45pm and has been replaced by Peston. So on an important news day in NI news coverage on UTV Live is down to a mere 15 minutes if that. I'm not taking away of course from the 6pm News announcement tonight from Buckingham Palace but ITV as it has been said in previous posts seemed to have got this one wrong. Possibly View from Stormont will get rescheduled later in the week but I would imagine many higher profile guests had been lined up for tonight's programme and the news will have moved on tomorrow given it's the first sitting of new NI Assembly. Slightly off topic but worth a mention that BBC Newsline tonight had both main presenters on air in the one programme with Declan Harvey in studio and Tara Mills in Parliament Buildings, Declan having also presented 4-6pm on Radio Ulster.

I'm guessing these decisions aren't being made locally. Very poor.

Sharp End on ITV 1 Wales will air tonight, but at the later time of 11:45. Maybe the same in Northern Ireland?
