Talk TV is still working on Freeview on my older Vestel Whatfedale DV832B box as if May 1st 7.00am. No captions blocking the picture, video & sound as normal.

At the moment they are on a DTL to a Royal Correspondent in Hollywood, telling us about King Charles on a visit in the UK...
No TX in Feesat this morning with the caption up on screen "TalkTV is no longer broadcasting, etc" and a QR code for schedule details.

Is all the output coming from the radio studio like it did before Talk TV launched?
I'm guessing so, based on the single camera shot on everything I've seen so far - but I've only watched for a few minutes at a time.

It had been for a few days before the switch off. Presumbly since the weekend as they didn’t have any live TV studio based anyway. Although I think the output looks a bit better than the radio studio based stuff did before the dual format. I don’t know why they didn’t try this format for the last 3 or so months before the switching off. It would have been a lot cheaper to run. I imagine of the problems with Talk TV from a business point of view was going for fully manned TV studios when they could have just concentrated on making the radio output for vision. I think Mike Graham’s old daytime show reportedly did well enough.

My non-smart TV still receiving Talk in vision on channel 237 on Freeview. Long may it continue! They must have changed their mind about closing their linear channel. It is great news though!

I have a smart TV but I’m still getting it on 237 too!

I would imagine it's just waiting for the carriage deal to run out or be reconfigured. I certainly see the IP version on 294.
