ITV Programming

ITV X will stream four live programmes from the Edinburgh Fringe. Not sure there's been many shows from the Fringe, especially live, but this sounds like a good idea to me.

First non-sport live stream on ITV X as well?

Yes Euro 2024 initally then they will probably fall back on Celebrity Chase, Catchphrase, 1% Club repeats and films.

Last year the summer offerings were The Voice Kids and Moneyball but don't think there will be anything new this time around.

Not even sure what they've got for the autumn - The Voice and presumanlyvthe remaining 1% Club episodes, and perhaps Catchphrase assuming they've a series in the can. That only covers a couple of months though - with no World Cup of any kind for the first time since 2021 they've 16 weeks to schedule. Not sure what they can sacrifice against Strictly though.

The only new thing I can think of in entertainment is The Genius Game if that's for autumn, but don't know if its a Saturday night show.

They haven't showed Harry Potter or Daniel Craig's James Bond in a few months...

On the Harry Potter side, Sky Cinema has been airing the movies there to their subscribers (some occasions, one of the live channels became a pop-up channel for them).

Won’t be having a Bond season just yet though, it’s only on as filler against Eurovision.

Not sure, could potentially see it on Saturdays, but later in the evening if so. But could also see it being stripped like Fortune Hotel, although they’re pretty limited on weeks to do that around My Mum Your Dad, I’m a Celeb and Big Brother.

Guessing the 8pm ‘main’ slot will be covered by The Voice until the end of October, then the rest of 1% Club in Nov/Dec with I’m a Celeb at 9pm.

Up until I’m a Celeb guessing Password will take the late slot and then maybe Jonathan Ross.

Catchphrase has a series in the can and there are also still episodes of Millionaire and Beat the Chasers to use which could go on Saturdays if needed. Family Fortunes too but guessing that’ll be Sundays.

It’s all a bit weak though, they haven’t announced a big new commission like Mamma Mia last year (which I know flopped but was at least a bigger swing). They’ve announced 99 To Beat but I’d assumed that was for 2025.

If The 1% Club is finishing this weekend then I wouldn’t be surprised if they put the subsequent films at 9pm after BGT

1% Club vs The Wheel could be an interesting battle in the autumn but one I think ITV would want to avoid as it probably turns it from a show getting around 4m to a show getting 3m.

They are also Limitless Win episodes in the can I believe but given ITV's strategy of late even if they were pencilled in for early autumn they'd probably be pushed back to January anyway to avoid recording anymore for now.
