What a horrible set-up when Granada has the best looking ITV regional studio in the country - surely some creative thinking could have allowed them to use the studio?

Looks like they're about to do the general knowledge round on The Krypton Factor.

Where were they doing the debate from? Doesn't seem to have been plugged anywhere on their socials, either.
To be honest, the usual monthly post-NaT slot for 'The Granada Debate' would have probably been a better slot for it rather than usurping Granada Reports at 6pm.
Still, Lucy seems at home, what with her past experience on Up Front, The Late Debate etc.
Infact, yesterday was her 40th anniversary in television - she joined Tyne Tees as a journalist for Northern Life this week in 1984...

Lucy said they were at Media City next to the Corrie set.

Is a shame ITV rarely give the English regions a slot outside the regional news to do such things, although it would reach more people at 6pm than thrown out after the late news. Did the half hour include any kind of news summary?

No, just a weather forecast which was provided by Louise Small from Belfast.

Probably linked to the large cladded scaffolding structure covering the front entrance of the building where repair work to the sculpture is being performed. While it looks alright in the background, it's a bit messy for something front and centre of a programme.

The logo on that screen is the same one ITV news used for 2015, 17 and 19... so I'm guessing we can assume little to no change this time.

One funny thing watching the 1970 election is quite often when there's a caption on screen during a non-sync cut, the caption itself starts floating up and down the screen- happens with both the electronic captions and the keyed-on physical ones.
