BBC News Channel/BBC World News Merger

So essentially happening a month earlier than planned, and what's the betting with the UK breaking news arrangement not in place something major, but not quite that major, will happen in that month.

Is this Martine saying she’s not going to be around in the future?

Well this thread has got to page 100 on mobile with true sadness that the bbc news channel will be a thing of the past along with studio E.

So are we going full fat bbc world news for one month then it rebrands to this new merged channel?

Some are saying the full rebrand will happen later in the year as it will take time to refit E.

I'd say more Christmas time BBC World News, although with 1/6/10 bulletins - no branded programming, remember?

I wonder if the new daytime WBR slots will be where Sally Bundock and Victoria Valentine end up if the 5-7 slot gets replaced by output from Singapore until 6am and the new World morning shift?

Just seen Newswatch coming from Studio L. I’m impressed at the size of it. Bigger than I thought. I’d imagine all the language service studios will be on the list for an upgrade too at some point.

Mobile doesn't display less posts on mobile than on desktop by default, this is the 100th page of the thread as I see it on a laptop.
