and then BBC World News are having a graphic issues again. The flipper is stuck with the wrong world clock for a while now, including the BBC News Oscars highlights show.

Is BBC World News still being called this when not being broadcast in the UK?

If you mean do presenters still refer the WN-only bulletins as "BBC World News", yes. For example, Samantha Simmonds presented the WN bulletins from 0600-1000 yesterday (Sunday) and started off with "Welcome to BBC World News" etc...

Lukwesa Burak also appears to have not got the memo that it should be referred to as BBC NEWS, welcoming viewers to BBC WORLD NEWS all weekend.

No wonder everyone is so confused.

Some of them still call it 'BBC WORLD', so don't expect everyone to catch up quickly. Tongue

I watched the 5pm bulletin on my way home and it was very UK centric, although the use of terms to suit the overseas audience is jarring.

I think the script now is to just say "BBC News in the UK and around the world"

Is the context on BBC World news at 10pm?  It’s only been on for 30 mins on the news
Channel?
