Falsely, or mistakenly?

Mistakenly. Wasn't too sure of the right word to use there.
What does that say about a channel if it scares fish? Just talk me through that.

This is just a presenter seeing a group of people walking through a capital city which is currently absolutely swarming with others mourning the death of our monarch to lay flowers, and the like, and assuming that they, too, must be part of it all. As much as the tiresome Twitter users who like to whip up a situation out of anything they can think of would like to make out it's some kind of disgraceful purposeful misreporting, it's clearly a simple mistake I think anyone would have made in the circumstances.

The BBC News theme and intro have returned since 1300.

Well I have to say...the BBC are rightly so utilising talent from across the board for their coverage. Local, radio, NC, World and the core team.
I appreciate it an incredibly colossal undertaking that no modern broadcaster could have been prepared for, but by god - the BBC are beyond proving their worth as a public service broadcaster.
Just impeccable.

I think it would have been better if the BBC had arranged for one studio to be relit in appropriate colour and with appropriate images and stuck to it for the duration rather than flitting between loads of different locations.
Based on how multi purpose it is, and how these plans have been years in the planning, that should probably have been studio E. Studio B could have been parked for the moment, and the World hours such as the current one with Christian Fraser could have been in E as well.

I'm kind of surprised that ITV saw fit to keep their brightly lit newsroom backdrop for the coverage.
Royal deaths in the past were quite different affairs, with black / purples and change to studio & backdrop. It seemed that Talk TV and GB News made the biggest changes to studios.

Everything the beeb do is in a league of its own
Was just by Canada gate and noticed a curved studio set - a bit like why sky used for Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral. The window gif still had tape/ cover over it but guessing it will be used for one of the main broadcasters soon?
For the anointment of the king this morning, those floodlights that were used - would that have been difficult to request permission for and was it BBC providing the pool feed for this? I liked how the stands were covered in red velvet to blend in with the walls
