KDKA's lemony-yellow is actually meant to be black and gold - the colours of Pittsburgh's sports teams (which in turn reflect the colours of the Pitt family crest).
There's quite a nice story about how this came about...

There, we are finally being given a sneak peek of the new standardized graphics. Like the Meredith standardized package (also designed by Quinn), stations would be able to customize the color palette used for its rendition, but eventually sticking to a design similar to the current Atlanta News First graphics. Stations from certain affiliates can also be able to commission customized variants, including CBS affiliates (like this example from a certain CBS 3, where the design take cues from the network's current brand system) and even Telemundo stations (with customized opens taking cues from Look K, the former Telemundo Local Media package from NBC Arthouse, like an example showcasing KXNV Reno, sister to KOLO). Additionally, lifestyle shows from Gray's legacy stations, as well as Raycom and Quincy holdovers, would switch to the Meredith lifestyle package (like this example showcasing Midwest Access, from former Quincy station KTTC). Stations will be able to retain their existing music packages.
The slow roll-out of the rebrand continues... WFSB's sister station Eyewitness News Now (low-powered WWAX-LD 27) has rebranded its L-bar to suit to the new look.
Additionally, WHNS (Fox Carolina) has made a quick alteration to their existing opening, something that looks temporary, given the new look is set to debut very soon, as soon as their station's Vizrt software gets the much needed upgrade:

And the tinkering continues... Now the ticker is back to dark grey.

KWTV News 9 - Oklahoma City moved into a new broadcast center in downtown OKC and built a new set a few months back. I was not impressed with the main position of the anchor it was seemingly shoved in a corner. And it didnt look quite right. Actually it look terrible. I guess I wasnt the only one that thought it looked bad. In just a few months the management swapped locations and took over the interview area and main anchor desk and fixed the woeful lighting. What a waste of money to create a 2 level "window" feature and it turned out that bad. They added some wood accents to the new anchor area. It looks quite pedestrian now, but better than the corner set..

Interview area before (temporarily being used for election coverage)

Back to CBS, KYW in Philly might be the next in line for the new graphics package, with a gigantic letter 3 twist:

The 3 looks horrendous IMO - inconsistent with both the main CBS brand and the legacy Westinghouse brand (anklepants). We'll see how it'll be seen on screen...

So unlike the other former Westinghouse stations like KDKA, WBZ, KPIX, WJZ, or the CBS long time owned WCCO, KYW-TV hasn't really used their call sign as a name on air since they attempted a bit in the 90's versus KYW-Radio. So they weren't going to do call sign in a box likes KDKW, KPIX (I feel WBZ and WJZ, and WCCO will) and they've seemed to drop the Eyewitness News name, they were the last CBS owned station to use the name, CBS owns the trademark to that name. I'm guessing someone at KYW-TV thought using a CBS 3 logo next to the CBS NEWS Philadelphia logo would be redundant with two CBS eyes so they made this logo , interesting. Honestly thought they were going to CBS NEWS Colorado or CBS News Detroit it and just use that as the logo on screen. But maybe Philly likes their big numbers on stations and they wanted to keep a number on the screen.
The 3 reminds me of a racing number for NASCAR. The logo doesn't look too bad to me, I've seen stranger currently in-use channel 3 logos

Nevermind this: WBZ is the latest recipient. Or should I say, WBZ NEWS streaming on CBS News Boston?

Well, they did a KCAL with this move. Worth noting current CBS News co-president Wendy McMahon was also the driving force behind WBZ bringing back its call letters as branding back in 2007, when Ed Piette was moved from WCCO over to Boston to try to turn around the fortunes of the station (Piette had successfully revived WCCO's ratings after downplaying the WCCO CBS 4 brand introduced in 2002 and reemphasizing WCCO as brand) to great effect (it had become dead last on the ratings thanks to CBS management tinkering with the station, and ratings improved since the rebrand).

However, this rebrand is a mess visually too: the L3s are really badly misaligned, we have a mismatch of old Linear Drift/CBSN Local and new elements, there are massive technical issues and... to make things worse, the KCAL brand issues are clearly now being shown here:

Interesting to note, that WBZ-TV now has a on screen bug during non news programming, they didn't do that before.
Also my favorite WBZ look was their 2008-2010 before the CBS owned graphics swept through
