And the first signs of change are now being seen: the happy talk elements have been dropped, plus the live tosses during the pre-show teases (anchors now read the teases). The pace has been also sped up: although they still are doing their die-hard, right-wing, pro-Trump agenda, more general VOs have been added to the rundown. Additionally, the anchor positions in the set have been swapped, with anchors now seated centre-pieced, plus three-head tosses to sport.

This is how ABC's new 10am local news looked, surprisingly still rocking with existing packages.

Their respective sister stations*, WRLH and WDBD (both Fox affiliates), flipped to the new look as well.

*WRLH is owned by Sinclair, who contracted their news production out to WWBT.

KSLA in Shreveport, Louisiana is the latest one to flip to GrayOne, with a bit of yellow twist.

Meet The Press didn't just get a new host, it also got a new look for the intro. Kind of an interesting folding ,Kaleidoscope look. Of course, the classic cut of the Mission stays.

Learned something new from that clip that Martha Roundtree (A woman) was the first moderator of Meet The Press way back in 1946. Maybe that fact washed over me because a female moderator today is not that unusual today. Thats incredible for the time period.

She did more than moderate it too, she's also the creator. Without her it wouldn't have existed.

With the launch of the new Live at Five, WANF made changes to its voiceover: dropping its longtime artist Brian Lee in favor of Dave Hoffman, a well-known artist with a long tenured trajectory and with vast work on all TV and audio supports, from commercials for car brands and department stores, to narrating documentaries and promos for the Discovery and A+E networks, Nat Geo, The Weather Channel, AMC, NFL Media, and others. The change happened during the July 4th long weekend.

Just watching WPIX for the first time in a while, and I see they've dropped the 2-hour delay they introduced in January and are streaming newscasts live again. Good news, obviously.

Did I miss an announcement about Nexstar reversing the decision? I can't see anything obvious about it online.

Yeah it was announced last week. They didnt make a big song and dance about it because the delay was a stupid decision to begin with.

I thought WPIX, WGN, KTLA and WFLA never had the live delay in the first place?
