Caught a trail for it last night - definitely the original YTV run (as recently seen on That's TV)

Would require some work I reckon, and I think its the same problem Run The Risk had for Challenge - or Double Dare or whichever one it was that ran as part of Going Live. They wanted one or the other back in the day but it was only available as the insert to the programme, unless it had been edited into something else separate.
I suspect the TV-am inserts would require buying the whole edition of TV-am where they had that feature. That and the fact the inserts are only about 4 minutes long anyway, so not a very cost effective solution to make a whole programme out of:

YouTube.
And let's be fair, its very rough and bland round the edges in terms of the format anyway, it was bulked up a bit in various ways by the time YTV got hold of it.

Both Double Dare and Run the Risk ran as standalone repeats during CBBC (or BFT) blocks. There are some examples of Double Dare on the ADC YouTube channel where it looks like they didn't add a credit sequence but just ran it as Going Live would have with short opening and closing sequences.

Anyway the overarching point was something Challenge wanted (whatever it was) was only available as part of whatever show it was in so they would have had to buy the whole thing to cut it out and that's why it never happened.

This is great news! These are the type of classic game shows we want to see on Challenge. I wonder if they are reshowing the series That's TV recently aired, I think which were Series 1 & series 6, or different ones?

Same ones. Synopsis mentions one of them being the first ever episode, which means it's series 1.

Pretty sure the synopsis is the same as when they were shown on That's TV too. I remember the description of the first episode. It's actually rare for Challenge to have meaningful synopsis for their shows so it will be interesting if that makes it to the EPG or if they end up using something generic.

I hope Challenge retain the Yorkshire TV frontcap animation, at least for Series 1.
