Which makes me wonder why it's being launched this week, it's been on the satellite for a while so I assumed it had been available on the boxes at home for ages

12226H from 10 may 2022
12168V from 39 September 2022

No broadcast 17-30 May

I’ll do a blindscan I expect 1199 and 1200 will have been renamed unfortunately my current receiver dosent pick up the latest info hence a blindscan.

Edit: that’s exactly what’s happened there’s now two of them and I presume one of them is for the Republic of Ireland?

The new HD services have already been added to the Freesat Test EPG, despite not being live yet.

As far as I can tell all of them: www.satellite-calculations.com  (channels 451 to 466)

But for the time being they only exist in the EPG data.

Interesting to see the names as they’ll (presumably) appear on the EPG. ’BBC One NWstHD’ seems a strange one. Surely just ‘BBC One NW HD’ would look better and make more sense.

South West is SW, rather than SWst.

Indeed. Btw I made s mistake yesterday. Only realised when I had 7 on tp50. So to clarify it looks like the BBC capacity in hd will become as follows:

Tp45

SID 6308 BBC Parliament HD
SID 6311 BBC1 NE&C HD
SID 6331 BBC1 North West HD
SID 6371 BBC1 Yorks HD

To 46

SID 10310 BBC1 CI HD
SID 10329 BBC RB1 HD
SID 10331 BBC1 West HD
SID 10341 BBC1 SW HD

Tp48

BBC4 HD
CBeebies HD
SID 10363 BBC1 London HD
SID 10373 BBC1 East HD
SID 10374 BBC1 E Mid HD

Tp50

SID 6911 BBC1 Yorks & Lincs HD
SID 6912 BBC2 Wales HD
SID 6931 BBC1 SE HD
SID 6840 BBC2 HD
SID 6943 BBC1 NI HD
SID 6951 BBC3 HD
SID 6952 CBBC HD

Tp61

SID 8901 BBC1 Scotland HD
SID 8911 BBC1 Wales HD
SID 8921 BBC News HD
SID 8924 BBC Scotland HD
SID 8926 BBC Alba HD
SID 8927 BBC Alba HD (with English audio)
SID 8941 BBC1 W Mid HD

BBC4/CBeebies will move from tp61 to 48 so BBC Alba will replace BBC4/CBeebies

6 channels on 50 and 61 4 on 45 46 and 48

Interesting that it seems that 45, 46 and 48 will stay as DVB-S for now (hence why they will only have 4 channels for now). Maybe because they first have to negotiate with Astra for a switch to DVB-S2?

With DVB-S2 they could switch BBC Two NI and BBC One South from Skys capacity.
