Because until 2017, it was been (Pershyi natsionalnyi and Ukrainske radio) two separate state-owned (not public!) broadcasters. That's why I wrote "the youngest public broadcaster in Europe".

Ok so originally Radio and TV were separate and in 2017 they were merged into one, Thank you so much for clearing this up, I really appreciate it!

Yeah, Ukraine wasn't the only country to have broken away from the former USSR in 1991, plus we've had Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia break up since then, so anything from 1991 wouldn't be the newest. Makes much more sense if they've only existed in their present form since six years ago.

Technically, nobody 'broke away from the USSR', the union simply ceased to exist and dissolved into the existing separate republics. I'm sure many of them were already operating their own broadcasting services for linguistic/cultural reasons long beforehand.

Yugoslavia was rather different, but again, they actually had many internal cultural differences so I'm sure already had some regional services within the federation.

Czechoslovakia was the 'cuddly version' of breaking up a country. They gave each other a big hug and waved goodbye. They refer to it as the 'velvet divorce'. They had a broadcast service ČST from 1953, which then simply split in two and renamed themselves as Česká Televize and Slovenská Televízia.

So it seems with the relaunch of TV4 Play and the CMore channels getting the TV4 name, TV4's channels including the flagship channel all have a refreshed look and a new typeface, Fyran Sans (as seen on the new TV4 Play website).
Sadly there's no video out yet.

The new name (and RTL United branding) will only be used during the Primetime lineup. Daytimes remain named as Toggo and the channel's official name will remain Super RTL, according to an RTL Deutschland spokesman to industry print publication MEEDIA.

Quote:"From Tuesday, the Super RTL Primetime strand (from 20:15) will be called RTL Super. The new logo will also be visible on social media and on the website. Super RTL remains the name of the station and continues to bracket daytime and primetime. In terms of programming, we are continuing the channel's very successful strategy in primetime."

Returning to Ukraine, the day before yesterday, with the testing broadcast of Suspilne Sport, 1+1-owned commercial TV channel TET introducing new graphic package and on-screen bug by "Poland 2011"-style - enlarged logo, which is too far from the right corner and large box with small-typeface slogan, which, according to viewers, is not very. But the graphic pack with Unbounded typeface and colour palette from the 2011 logo, looks like better than yellow 2022 ID's.  By the way, the new slogan Zakokhani u zhyttia (In love with life) was a homonymous song and OST of the channel by Roxolana, the Ukrainian singer.
Also distinguished were media professionals from My (We are) - Ukraina. In the Ukrpatent has published a new trademark, My Ukraina + (the name is very original and has nothing to do with Inter+). This means, that leaks from detector.media was confirmed and coming soon will be created a new entertatinment TV channel and possible reincarnation of Media Group Ukraina.

The new package debuted yesterday. This was how they took over from Toggo (plus a programme promo and ad sting, Austrian feed): youtu.be

The channel promo, playing on the "super" suffix: youtu.be

The only thing out of it that currently surfaced online is their programme menu, which seems to play on the slant in the numeral:
youtu.be

Around Europe, Talpa's women's channel Net5 in the Netherlands rebranded to a pale olive green:
youtu.be

And over in the US, WHBQ-TV in Memphis (Imagicomm/Fox) celebrated their 70th birthday with a recreated ident, reusing their mid-80s numeral:
youtu.be

It's like ITV1 in 2005. ITV Day in daytime, ITV1 in primetime and on weekends, and CITV was still a block then too (the channel hadn't launched yet).
