BBC One Nightlight

So that it’s a single operation to watch BBC one
And as this feed still exits as it was the only  feed until March time …
But does “your region” live in your profile …..  that’s the right way to do it !

Watching BBC One HD via Youview, and holding the OK button to restart the current programme, does go to the correct regional feed according to my testing during the news (with regional inserts correct). However, I’m not sure, though, whether this is because the system picks up which region you have tuned to or goes by the regional settings in iPlayer. The correct region was already set in my iPlayer app so if that was what indicates it then I’m not surprised it worked.

Probably not. Sky does not support the MHEG-5 standard.

Looks like that notice - the fourth version - is shown in the bottom third of the screen in alternate orogrammes for the whole programme

Was seen on Tuesday during The Finish Line and 6 o'clock news, but not during Pointless

It stays on screen until the BBC1 idents are shown before a programme starts but was on screen for promos before the one show too but not during TONIGHT'S One Show

Looks like it is shown on alternate programmes counting the news as one single programme.

Starts when BBC1 ident appears right through until the next time it appears, and alternates

Strange

This notice does alternate programmes. It's on programmes it was not on yesterday and visa versa.

This does NOT include

Breakfast
Weather for the week ahead
Joins BBC News

But does appear for alternating shows outside those including the main news bulletins (local windows included as one programme for this purpose).

On X/Twitter, I've seen precisely one person complaining about the BBC forcing people to upgrade to HD...

Of course mine us not a complaint just tracking the changes.

But if it's that low I am surprised SD has been around fir so long. 28 years now but HD started 18 years ago and UHD 7 years ago.

Bizarre even anyone complained

Totally - didn't mean to suggest I was replying directly to your post Smile
