Can't help but think that branding the morning slot to something recognizably 'newsy' is to take advantage of the BBC News Channel merger. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't looked to Fox for a bit of inspiration which has America's Newsroom from 9 till 11 in the morning.
