GB News

Considering the channel is now loosely based on the Daily Express, even that rag has actual news in it among the opinionated content, so it looks like as mentioned that even the target demo want some longer form actual news among the opinion in daytime.

Now all that needs to happen is to do the same to Patrick Christys' programme. Personally, I think he should be moved to the evening to make way for another news programme but that is just my opinion. I don't see why they shouldn't bring back Liam Halligan and Gloria De Piero for that time slot.

Very very confused right now.

How are they able to have local ads on pushback with the ticker still going?

I don’t think they’re local ads, they’re going out across the country just for very local things. Selling advertising still an issue…

Most of them seemed to be from Wales...

Precisely this. I watch in Belfast and both Talk TV & GB News regularly show ads for Welsh local businesses.

Do those Welsh businesses operate across the UK online maybe?

While BBC Breakfast was showing off its refresh, GB News' new 'Britain's Newsroom' strand went live this morning as well.

New titles, music and on screen graphics.

New music, new titles, new graphics - great, only problem is the same old tired content churned out.
