GB News

If you'd bothered to read the original post and the replies to both you'll know that and will have seen that not only do GB News have camera operators, but they're advertising for some at the moment.

Did you not read my post, I state I know he is freelance but the point still stands.

And I was not disputing he was a camera operator, just making the point that if someone leaves an organisation, it's not uncommon for them to spout negative views about the place. Everyone knows what GB News was going to be, why did he work there in the first place. Does he have any evidence for his claims. Just to be clear, I don't think GB news is what he claims it is.

I think we need to take it down a notch, what with posts suggesting people are lying and others jumping down someones throat suggesting they are obtuse. Any claims made, as the last week has shown, should be left until the correct process is followed and the result is clear.

Are any of their original regional reporters still with the channel?

I think some of the original ones are still with the channel, but possibly in different roles.

Quite funny to see the tweet now has a Community Note attached to it

I’d suspect just Ellie Costello and Paul Hawkins plus Dougie Beattie from the original “regional reporters”?

Ellie Costello is now a presenter on the channel.

But the regional reporter role seems to be redundant.

The Byline Times have published their first part of what they say is a three year investigation into the online behaviour of GB News host Dan Wootton. The allegations predate his time with GB News. Wootton is currently on air following a holiday.

I look forward to seeing this splashed all over the front pages of The Sun and Daily Mail tomorrow... ...or not as I suspect if they can help it.

I imagine some in BBC News might be tempted to report on it, but may be concerned about more Huw/anti-BBC stories.

Interestingly he’s got a section discussing Carol Voderman coming up, I believe Voderman made some comment about him trending on Twitter last week.
