That's quite tricky for those of us who have lived through them all, never mind the kids of today.
I didn't live through them all and got 8/8. Gotta up your game...

I got 5/8, but please cut me some slack, I was one of those kids that had Sky in the 90's.

My two cents...
In general - Nice to see the Beeb's trend of abstract centre objects/symbols continued, especially for one that might be closing in a few years' time. Much better effort than pasting the new branding system onto old live action footages!
On CBeebies - Not that fond of the Blobs becoming the Blocks (if you can call them that way): the fluidity of old is missing a bit IMO, but I understand why they'd want to do that. The wordmark has a bit of the playfulness in the original logo, but hey, at least it aligns better now (plus a new Reith variant - Reith Sans Rounded Ultra Bold, anyone?)
Wonder how would BBC Radio CBeebies on Sounds be updated? Wordmark only, or to be represented by the new Blocks?
On CBBC - Like others are saying, the three 'posts' suit the Tricon-era BBC II! more, but what if there's four of them, matching the letters in the brand? There might be more on-screen clutter, for sure. The clock's position is a bit random and unclear TBH - maybe a more standard layout like BBC News' would be more readable?

Just watched their own official 'ident history' video in the suggested pages of this on a whim, and at least a couple of them seem to be very low quality YouTube rips! Only thing to separate it from most of the unofficial ones on there is the lack of massive watermarks over everything...

It was “Learn and Play”

I've watched it too. The Comments underneath read like a typical discussion on here imo

Interesting that CBBC are going hard on the "Watch on CBBC and iPlayer" whereas CBeebies is just "Watch on CBeebies".
What does that say about a channel if it scares fish? Just talk me through that.

Just taken a look at the new idents and agree with what’s been said before.
I think they both look amazing. My only thoughts are that the CBBC ones look as if they’d be suited to say a channel aimed at teenagers. I can in a properly funded BBC world where you had the channels CBeebies, CBBC and say TBBC (channel for teenagers) they’d be a perfect fit with the TBBC as they’d make that link to BBC three creating that smooth transition.
I do love the CBeeBies. Idents. I won’t lie I have always thought the bugs were incredibly sweet and the new blocks don’t have that same feel but it’s high quality. I can understand why some parents are upset with the sudden change. Being autistic myself sudden change is very difficult to deal with. It may have been an idea to add the block-bugs with the bugs and have a much slow evolutional rebrand or even introduced the block-bugs with the old bugs to live in a bug-block world.
Just a ident loving pres.fan from the East of England
