Seems like there is quite a bit of 'churn' going on at a relatively senior level.
Interesting, new programme in the offing Sunday Morning with Adam Boulton?
Edit - sorry just realised thats on Times radio

Ofcom has announced that it's opened a new "broadcast investigation" into an episode of Richard Tice; specifically, an episode presented by Alex Salmond (along with a similar probe into a GB News show).

Times TV anyone?

That might be why she is moving over. Kate on Times and Peter on Talk/Sun.
Seems like NewsUK are shaking things up. Rupert must have ordered changes when he visited the other week. Be interesting to see how it develops.

I'm not sure the Kate McCann news is as significant as you suggest. Seems like she is effectively replacing Lucy Fisher at Times Radio who recently left to join the FT. She probably negotiated to keep the 'Political Editor' title as opposed to the 'Chief Political Correspondent' title given to her predecessors.

I agree, it also mentions she will still be appearing on TalkTV, presumably in a similar position as Rosie Wright as an occasional presenter and panellist in segments.
In terms of a successor, I'd assume TalkRadios political editor Peter Cardwell will probably get the gig, with him then covering the whole schedule.

Having read that Erron Gordon has gone over to GB News, I think that this is it for TalkTV and it's now time to start the 'clock to closing down'.
Rebekah Brooks was right, she was never 100% behind TalkTV and now it's evident why. Money haemorrhaging from its coffers with no return on investment. Not even Piers Morgan is bringing in the TV viewers up against a politician who I don't think should be there.
If I was Mr Murdoch, I would hand full control to Rebekah Brooks and let her find a way for News UK to start making money again. First thing she would do is close down TalkTV. Then I think, she would revert it back to being a radio station with online streaming before TalkTV was launched. Who knows, she may look to set up another TV channel but that would probably in the long term rather than 1-5 years time.
Let's see what the future holds.

It does seem like it's all falling apart doesn't it. Tom Newton Dunn on extended leave for a HR incident, Erron Gordon leaving, editors like Kate McCann moving elsewhere...
I think you're right that moving back to TalkRadio which seemed to be doing reasonably OK with an online stream seems the best way to go, it's most of the current schedule anyway, and lose the expensive TV productions in the evening. I would also more closely align with The Sun. It could be hosted on their site providing interviews, exclusives etc for the paper and while making use The Sun's journalists on the radio similar to the relationship Times Radio has with The Times. Morgan can still do his exclusive interviews once in a while, they'd just be accessed via The Sun's website rather than a TV channel.

So reportedly Morgans contract is 'water-tight' would this mean that contractually he would still do his show into 2024?
