If they’re true to their word, I look forward to discussions such as ‘What do I fancy for tea tonight?’, ‘Is the dog due his worming treatment?’, and ‘I think that damp patch on the ceiling’s getting bigger’.

To be fair, that wouldn’t even surprise me these days

As if by magic, David Bull and Nicola Thorp are covering for Vanessa Feltz all week.
Presumably a trial run for them hosting together, it was rumoured in PopBitch last week that they are in the running to host the new TV Breakfast show,

Not really sure why they think that would perform any better than just continuing simulcasting JHB breakfast show.

Hardly a “wow” pairing, are they, in terms of name recognition and adding crucial eyeballs to the BARB sheet. Imagine most people wouldn’t have a clue who they were - they might as well stick with Hartley-Brewer who is at least a competent broadcaster and has done OK numbers on the radio side.

Regardless of what you think of them, JHB works well on weekday breakfast and Bull works well on weekend breakfast. They suit the audience well and there is no reason to change them.

Trisha Goddard on Talk TV having some major technical problems at the moment, no audio from around 5:50pm and has gone to breakdown caption. Sound is still okay on TalkRadio.

Edit: After over 30 minutes of no sound, Talk TV has gone to a repeat of Piers Morgan Uncensored, Talk Radio has stayed with Trisha Goddard.

Doing a show with the host in a home studio in Connecticut has its limits.
