Channel 4 are advertising a channel slot on Freeview which if you look further into the documents says is being “released” by C4. It’s Digital3&4’s mux so I would guess it’s E4+1 going.

Links to a document with a horrid logo for Digital3&4 which I never knew existed!

So Freeview slots are sold on LinkedIn nowadays?
More likely they've squeezed another one in than closing a channel TBH.

Derry Girls writer Lisa McGhee's new comedy, 'How To Get To Heaven From Belfast' will no longer air on Channel 4. It will air on Netflix instead.
With how much of a success Derry Girls apppeared to be for Channel 4, this feels a bit of a miss for them.

Sadly not surprising but also suspect creators with a multi-series vision would feel more secure with Netflix being able to complete their vision now.

And reportedly the pay of the top executives will be cut by 30-40%. With the budget cuts, this is a sensible move. Some would say that would also be fair based on performance.

Long over due but think Ian Katz needs cutting completely.

Well considering Netflix is the international home for Derry Girls, it is not a surprise to me this happened. She will get far bigger budget for the show than what Channel 4 would offer her now.

This would be a relief for Channel Four if they do keep Bake Off.

Wonder what shows (if any) they'll have to pick up on top of it to keep the deal sweet. Previously the Great Pottery Throw Down and Junior Bake Off have been thrown into the mix.
