Charles Barkley has spoken to the New York Post saying that the bosses want to partner him and Gayle King together and that he would do it out of respect to King.
The first CNN Primetime show is this airing this Tuesday (Wednesday morning UK time) . It's a one on one interview with Bill Maher that is presented by Jake Tapper.
Julia Vargas Jones will move to São Paulo to be the CNN’s correspondent in Brazil, where CNN doesn’t have a proper one since a long time.
Also, Jomana Karadsheh said on an instagram post prior to the earthquake that she will move to London. The question is, what it will come up from the Istanbul bureau? A bureau close?
A remaining question. What happened to Blake Essing? He left CNN? He hasn’t been on screen for a long time and now we have Mark Stewart in Tokyo (for a short period presumably).

Interesting scoop, both about Jake and Maher. Now disgraced Chris Cuomo used to do pre-recorded full-hour Maher interviews on his 9pm show from time to time as well.

Is Shasta Darlington still with CNN, or just working as a freelancer?

Not sure. She is presented as CNN Correspondent, however, she unlike all the other correspondents she speaks from her home and never does reporting, just live taps.
CNN International is introducing a brand new broadcast facility in Abu Dhabi. I assume that this would be different from where they are originally broadcasting?

It appears this has been caused by twofour54 moving to a new campus. So just a necessary change rather than an expansion or contraction. Does though suggest that the bureau is here to stay for medium to long term despite the reduction of content specifically made for CNNi in recent years.
"Abu Dhabi has been a key hub in CNN’s global operation since 2009, when the network first opened its bureau in the Emirate, at twofour54’s previous campus. It has been the base for Connect the World with Becky Anderson since 2014 and is also home to some of CNN’s best-known feature programming, including Decoded, and Marketplace Middle East, as well as key CNN Digital properties, such as the network’s Meanwhile in the Middle East newsletter."
