We did not get all three of the anchors together in the end, but the closest we got to that was John and Kate interviewing sports journalist about basketball.

UPD. On a separate note, CNNI is now simulcasting CNN/US and "Inside Politics" as Donald Trump rides to the airport.

Quite an interesting trio on air now as of 1pm ET. Dana Bash, Phil Mattingly and Kaitlan Collins presenting with Dana and Phil from Washington Studio D and Kaitlan Collins from New York outside of Trump Towers. They do like their trios at CNN now.

CNN News Central was interesting, it also gives me the first generation Situation Room feel with the use of standing and screens being used to present reporters and information.

I can't help but laugh at your previous comment about the desk having come from Atlanta! it's almost identical - an odd choice for Clickspring who undoubtedly fitted that studio to opt for.

It's not so eye catching is it!

They should have some sort of a big desk where they can all gather around, at certain points and then move on with separate presentation.
