It feels odd that CNN Max launches in less than 48 hours and we know absolutely nothing more than from the press release a month ago. No show times, no advertising, nothing.

Manu Raju taking over Inside Politics Sunday yesterday also felt like a quiet affair.

It’s a stark change from the splashy launch and hype leading up to CNN+
Today’s absence of “One World” was pre-planned. “Inside Politics” aired on CNNI instead. It is scheduled for tomorrow with the new title “One World with Zain Asher and Brianna Golodryga”.

Had no idea this CNN Max thing starts in 2 days. I guess that explains some of these CNNI changes. So is there a schedule for it and will it be available on HBO Max worldwide?

I believe it’s only for the US version.

The max site calls it "beta" so this is really a soft launch in the US, to see what works and work out some stuff. I guess the current plan is to hope Max users will just stumble into it.

Who's Talking To Chris Wallace will move exclusively to CNN Max from the 29th September.

Coinciding the launch of the lunchtime bulletin, CNN Brasil has updated the lower thirds while introducing a new series of colour palette.

In their own words (www.cnnbrasil.com.br ):

Quote:This Monday [25/9], a graphics package will also be released. The new color palette takes as a reference the tones of nature and a modulation that reflects the nuances of light throughout the day, from dawn to dusk, through the vivid colors of the high sun and the arrival of night.

Studied down to the smallest detail to connect with the channel's content, the visual reform includes new geometric lines, stripes, typology and other elements present on the screen, all presented with new contours.

The new identity aims to give more recognition to the programming, with each attraction having its visual package developed according to the content. New 5-second vignettes come into play to support the perception of movement and agility.

As a result of the work of CNN Brasil 's local Creative Services team, the new on-air look is in line with the standard aligned by CNN, one of the world's biggest brands in the field of journalism.

Variety article on State of the Race with Kasie Hunt:

The article doesn’t confirm that the show will air on Max, which seems like the obvious move.

Variety also reports that Kasie has some changes in the works for Early Start, including a new name.

Well this is a first. A double headed show from a broom cupboard set. They might as well sit on each other's head.

One World: YES, it is double headed!

NO, no fancy studio - still flash-cam cupboard that can apparently accomodate double heading.

Bianna's name added to the show's intro and title, but no major changes there

There seems to be a bit of 'lag' on the 3D movement of the CNN logo on the Live CNN's intro Big Grin

There seems to be a lack of stability at CNN Brasil, ever since they've launched, from the snippets we get shared by users such as yourself and others on this forum and its previous iterations, no slot seems to have kept its original presenters nor format for very long at all!
