May be it's their new policy - instead of getting everybody out to Tel Aviv / Jerusalem, they seem to give additional hours to anchors who are there, if the agenda is going to be Israel-Gaza dominated. Indeed, not only has Wolf done Erin Burnett Outfront, but Jake Tapper has also anchored The Source instead of Kaitlan Collins today. 
Moreover, Wolf announced he will substitute Jake Tapper tomorrow for whatever reason.

CNN seems to be going down the moderning the old with some of the shows, first Laura Coates with a modern version of Lark King live and now Amanpour with a nod to ten years ago for The Amanpour Hour.
