Looks like Brooke Baldwin might be out of the news business.

She’s the host of a Netflix game show called “The Trust: A Game of Greed.” It premieres this week (at least in the U.S.)

No. I think it was later removed.

CNN News Central opened with voice-over headlines and all three anchors seated at the desk. It’s a shame, I thought the format worked quite well. Having three anchored seated feels like a breakfast show (which arguably John, Kate, and Sara would work well hosting).

How long until the News Central brand is reverted back to Newsroom?

Speaking of CNN News Central, today's New York edition is interesting is that it's feels like a mix and match of normal News Central with special coverage around it. They have been broadcasting the audio of the DC Circuit Of Appeals hearing on Trump immunity with the usual CNN News Central branding and graphics but none of the normal team of John, Kate, and Sara are hosting. Instead it's Kaitlan Collins and Laura Coates presenting instead. I suppose under these circumstances it makes sense from a political and legal prospective that they are presenting and it helps their Chief Legal Analyst is also presenting.

With the wonderful, washed out, gray mess of a background. It's literally unwatchable. Is there anyone in charge, production wise? Huh

What's sad is that I actually think that's one of the better virtual set backdrops they've been using. The ones they use for The Lead couldn't be more terrible.

MSNBC really overdoes it with these fake sets too. At least when Fox uses fake backdrops, they just use a looped video of one of their actual newsrooms.

My problem with the virtual background is it was designed for all of the colorful News Central graphics that brought energy and visual interest to be overlaid. On its own it’s just dull. Seeing people sit around a table with a grey wall makes me want to change the channel.

Switching from one studio to another, Rosemary has shared a sneak peek of the new Atlanta studio.

From the looks of that, its looks unrecognizeable to Studio7... If they indeed dismantled and moved it as we were told. And Im not a fan of stacked stone. But Im sure it will be lit well. I notice they have lots of shiny white like the NYC sets. So hopefully it fits with the other sets already in use. So they will all have a cohesive look. Except for the awful brick set from New Day.

I personally would like something like the Hudson Yards set. It would give them enough flexibility in its use.
